An authentic Japanese brasserie experience inspired by izakaya 

Executive chef Frédéric Dufort’s new project is now open to the public at Solar Uniquartier. The menu, inspired by Japanese tradition, features seafood, rice, and noodle dishes that are prepared with the greatest respect for Japanese culture.

The IRU izakaya menu is led by renowned chef Van Amtel. After having made several culinary trips and worked in many renowned restaurants such as Le Toqué, Kaizen, Le Petit Tsukiji, and Maiko Sushi, chef Van Amtel offers new innovative flavours, always made from fresh products.

In addition to its mouth-watering menu, IRU izakaya’s brasserie offers a wide selection of privately imported sakes that will please the finest palates. As well, the restaurant provides a warm, authentic, and cozy ambience where sharing dishes and alcoholic beverages is always in good taste.
