Discover an enhanced experience of our Public Market starting July 3
This year, the Public Market is back at Place de la Gare with delicious local products from more than 20 local artisans and producers, a lounge area with coffee and games to entertain you, as well as new merchants every week at the tables tournantes. You could also win one of our gift baskets worth $250 by entering our festive contest.
From July 3 to September 18, Solar Uniquartier is setting the table with the summer’s most delicious culinary finds. On the menu: tasty dishes to enjoy on-site or at home, vitamin-packed vegetables, wild fruits, gourmet treats, premium organic meats, Quebec wines and more. Let the season of gourmet gatherings begin!
Back by popular demand
This year, seven of our must-see events are back. The organic market garden farm Aux P’tits Fruits (strawberries, raspberries, flowers and Quebec corn), Fruits à GoGo (an impressive selection of dried fruits and natural herbal teas), Les délices du verger (an amazing variety of olives), Érablière Maurice Jeannotte (syrup, butter, sugar loaves, pies, crumbles, puddings, pies, quiches, veal meatballs, etc.), Vignoble Émile-Auguste (white, rosé and red wines), Boulangerie Ange (fresh bread and pastries) and Bistro Plus (artisanal sausages, premium meats, duck ravioli, marinated flank steak, ribs, chicken wings). Enjoy their oven-baked pizzas and European hot dogs, cooked on-site!
The Public Market welcomes new merchants
New for this 3rd edition is a family-owned business from Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle, ideal for all your morning coffee: Bean et Bonheur, the master roaster.
If you’re looking for a food and wine pairing for dinner, Ferme d’Artagneau (lamb producer) and Ferme Les bouchées doubles (poultry, pork and veal producer) offer you meats grown with love, in the greatest respect for the land and nature.
Our Public Market would not be the same without its local roots and greens. Légumes frais du jardin (local), Au jardin d’Edem (organic), Mystic Mycélium (fresh, wild and cultivated mushrooms) and La Famille est dans l’Champ d’Ail (fresh garlic and derived products) will add taste and colour to your favourite recipes!
To end on a high note, Les Accords Parfaits, a company specializing in handmade decorative objects, will present a collection of pottery, wooden items and macramé. Finally, Tells Self-Care will display a premium selection of products for your well-being.
Tables tournantes: new finds every week
To enhance your experience at the Public Market, discover new merchants and businesses in the tables tournantes area every week. This is a great opportunity to discover local artisans!
To give you a taste of what’s to come: 94 Celcius Micro-torréfacteur, le Triple à 4 (sauces and marinades with vegetable proteins), La Transformerie (spreads, marmalades and sauces aimed at stopping food waste), Domaine Britannia Mills (renowned for its hot sauces), Finfinoix (cashew spreads), Lili et Gordo (Mexican ready-to-eat), Wise By Nature smoothie mixes, Éleveurs et fromagers Missiska, Les délices d’Arnaud (foie gras and duck products), Folie Douce (rhubarb products) and many others will be there!
Solar Uniquartier restaurateurs Vertigo, Mon Ami, and Kampai Sushis will also be joining our merchants to offer you a unique gourmet experience.
Lounge and coffee area
To relax and have fun, our summer market’s lounge and café area awaits you with comfortable Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and a playground. Share quality time with family and friends and challenge yourself with a variety of entertainment options: children’s drawing boards, skill games (giant Jenga, Molkky, Washer) as well as board games (domino, chess, backgammon).
